If He Ate it, is it a Creative Success?

As you know, we live in the country. We have cows and chickens and cats and an old dog and all the tractors and trailers and stuff to tend to each.
Be that as it may, having chickens, I occasionally have an abundance of eggs. And this past week, since Pete enjoys deviled eggs, I boiled up the extra dozen eggs to devil.

I normally have a well-stocked pantry, so I prepped the eggs before I started gathering ingredients.
Well then, I started to mix up the yolks and realized I had run out of mayonnaise.
I really didn't want to run to the store to buy just one item ... so I started looking around for something to use instead of mayo.
In the past I have substituted such things as avocado or sour cream or ranch dressing ... when I spied the tub of leftover tzatziki sauce, I thought, "Let’s give this a try."
I bought the tzatziki with some frozen gyro meat to have for a couple of my lunches... well, you remember, Pete is not an adventurous eater... so I tend to have "that other" food when I'm cooking just for me.
Well, Pete picks the cucumbers out of his salads and leaves the yogurt to me when it's in the fridge... whatever ... I used the tzatziki anyway.
When I'm creative with ingredients... hmmm ... let's just say I don’t advertise. I present the finished item and he generally eats it not realizing the difference.
Nevertheless, the tzatziki helped make a nice and creamy filling for the eggs... then I put a wee sprinkle of paprika on top to finish them off.

This time was no exception to my rule of don't ask don't tell. I got several "thank yous" and "yums" and he ate them all... so I think he liked them.
And I used up the leftover tzatziki sauce... for the creative win!
